The Extra Ordinary Art Hunt is a one-month, low-stakes everyday creativity challenge that invites you to notice creativity in ordinary life. You don't need to find extra time or make unique pieces of art. This practice offers a light structure for paying attention to what is already there.
Many of us move through our days without noticing how much creativity is already present in how we arrange a space, prepare a meal, walk a familiar route, or pause with something that catches our attention.
Duration: 1 month
Cohort size: 8–12 participants
Prompt schedule:
1 prompt per week
Delivered via email and text message
Time commitment:
Flexible and self-paced
Designed to fit into daily life, not add to it
Each week, you’ll receive a simple prompt inviting you to notice creativity in everyday places.
You respond individually, in whatever way feels natural.
Responses may include:
a photograph
a short written reflection
a sketch or mark
There is no pressure to produce, explain, or perform.
Attention to everyday creativity
Reflection without self-judgment
A simple rhythm of noticing and return
Wellbeing through presence, not productivity
The goal is to practice a way of noticing that you can return to over time.
Participants’ contributions are lightly curated into:
a free online exhibition, and
a small print publication
The print publication is optional and offered separately.
